Our mission is to safeguard the best interests of the local community and, in particular, to ensure that:
- The Madison Street Corridor Master Plan is applied consistently.
- The Board of Trustees identify and require compensating benefits proportionate to the zoning variances requested by the developers
- Business viability is realistically and fully assessed for all mixed-use developments along the Madison Street Corridor.
- The effect of the projects on traffic and parking along Madison Street, Grove Avenue, and Carpenter Avenue is considered.
- The proposed project's impact on the look and character of the Madison corridor be considered within the context of other developments, both current and future, along the Madison corridor.
- Development improve rather than erode the quality and character of our community.
- The safety of our children, pets, and pedestrians on our streets be maintained.
- The community impact of the projects' height and density are considered.
